Have you recently adopted a Lab from Lab Rescue of the LRCP? Our labs come in all shapes, sizes and colors and come from a wide variety of circumstances. New adopters often have questions about a variety of subjects and we've made this section available to answer some or all of the questions you may have.

2011 Great Year for Lab Rescue

We took in more dogs in 2011 than any time in our history, this is due to the outstanding help and support that all our volunteers and friends gave us. Without you we could not have accomplished this.

Adopt A Senior Lab

We have many seniors looking for homes right now. These labs settle in to your home quickly, require less exercise and return your love ten times over.

For a limited time, Lab Rescue of the LRCP is reducing the fee to adopt a senior lab by 50%.

Buy Your Annual Calendar
Each year Lab Rescue adopters submit photos of their beloved rescued labs. We compile these photos into a calendar and make it available to you, so you can celebrate their cuteness and charm all year long.

Magnum is a cheerful fellow who will brighten your day when you look at his smiling face. He's a wonderful companion. He's 11 year's old and is learning how to enjoy life again after a rough year or so.

Labs, loveable labs. That’s our specialty! At any given moment, we have 30-60 labs available for adoption . To start the adoption process, fill out an application. Lab Rescue of the LRCP (Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac) is an organization dedicated to the rescue of labs in the Mid-Atlantic region. We care for them until a new forever home is found.
