September is senior month at Lab Rescue but there is no need to wait until the 1st!

Senior dogs, age 8 and up, are easy going and well mannered companions.  From now until September 30th only, Lab Rescue is offering a discount on the adoption fee for these dogs to encourage you to consider these special companions. The adoption fee will be $125 (usually $200.)

Check out some of our great seniors Blue, Dobson, EmmieHoustonand others.

 About Lab Rescue

Labs, loveable labs. That’s our specialty! At any given moment, we have 30-40 labs available for adoption – and adoption coordinators who are happy to help you find the perfect lab for your household. To get, started, fill out an adoption application. Want to come see some of our happy-go-lucky charmers in person (so to speak)? Come visit us at one of our Lab Adoption Days. If you love labs, and want to help us in our mission, please consider fostering, transporting or helping at Lab Adoption Days.

Like all rescue groups, we are perennially broke. We rescue and adopt out more than 650 dogs each year. We pay for our rescued dogs to get medical treatment, sometimes even surgery. Many of them come to us in poor condition, with skin ailments, heartworm positive, and unspayed and unneutered. Beyond medical costs, we also must pay kennel charges when they are undergoing treatment or when we have more dogs than we do foster families. If you want to make a difference to a homeless dog in search of a forever home, please considering making a donation!

From all the thousands of labs we have rescued over the years, a grateful "woof" to all who volunteer their time, donate their money, and provide loving homes. Have you got room in your home and your heart for one of our heartbreakers? There's a wagging tail and a world of unconditional love waiting for you - come take a look at our list of dogs currently up for adoption!
